It might be just one of those multiversal patterns that pops up here and there? Just in a more direct way.
I’ve, uh… had something similar happen to me. And yeah, it feels weird.
I’m getting a weird sense of deja vu talking to Percy.
Isn’t it weird that once I contacted @ask-spider-man-61610 , another Parker, for help when I was trapped in a city that has gone down the drain and now here I am doing the same for Percy?
Does this mean anything? At all?? Or am I just over thinking this? Something feels off but I don’t know why.

Refs for two of the character's from my spidersona's world-- made the refs back before ArtFight/add them to my profile
Henry Osborn is the son of Harry Osborn, grandson of Norman Osborn. When Henry was young, Norman managed to wrangle custody of his grandson away from Harry, and spent years trying to shape Henry into a new Green Goblin. This included being gifted the Orange Shard on his 18th birthday, and he was granted fire-type powers. However, Henry managed to avoid becoming a Goblin through sheer obliviousness (and his preference for 'epic stunts', which were showcased on his various social media accounts), and after escaping Norman and reuniting with his father, Henry's been doing much better for himself and is working on improving himself.
Oliver Octavius is, unbeknownst to him, not actually an Octavius, despite being told he was the son of Otto from birth by his mother. He grew up with a resentment for Spider-Man, and carried the goal of proving how his 'father' had been wronged with him into adulthood. He befriended Melly and Hannah early in their college years, and was eventually presented the Green Shard by Melly. Realizing she was a Spider, however, he ended up turning on her, declaring that they were now sworn enemies. Though Melly as come to terms with this betrayal, Oliver has refused to let go of their perceived rivalry. From the Green Shard, he gained the ability to infuse its energy into metal and shape it to his will. Though a skilled engineer, he's taken to forming his ock-arms directly from this malleable material, allowing him to focus his inventiveness on things other than having to repair them after every fight.
Both of these guys exist in the same world as my main spidersona ask blog, @ask-crimson-weaver

East German director Rainer Bär created a fascinating tribute to Carol Reed's immortal classic "The Third Man" (1949): the television crime film "Klassenkameraden" ("Classmates") from 1984 including a theme by zither for each appearance of the murderer.
The East German police officer Hannes Bergemann (Alfred MĂźller) returns to his hometown after many years to investigate the murder of his old classmate Fred. His other two former classmates have become respectable citzens. Helmuth Grohmann (Otto Mellies) runs a night bar and Richard Abel (Gerd GĂźtschow) has become a dentist. During his investigations Hannes gets more and more convinced that his old friends hide something from him ...

Note
So I think you’ve talked about your Doc Ock a bit on here... but have you ever encountered any other Ocks in other dimensions? How do they match up to yours?
Yes, I have. Doctor Octopus might not be exactly a universal constant, but it's certainly a common enough title that I've crossed paths with a fair number of them. I'm going to give a short little rundown of each of them, and why they should go to hell. This is gonna be a salty list. If you didn't want that, you should've come to someone else.
The Otto Octavius of Earth-1512 was the first alternate Ock I ever encountered. Unlike most of the Ocks on this list, I don't know or care what his deal is--I just spent an hour in my first ever alternate universe before I saw a man in armored green and yellow throwing cars around with mechanical tentacles. He was also working with the Green Goblin and holding civilians hostage at the time, which in my opinion is reason enough to put him in the ICU like I did. I've never been back to this universe and never will, but presumably he's just doing the same shit every month or so.
The Otto Octavius of Earth-8363, colloquially called God Ock because I guess we can't fucking help but stroke his ego, was the Ock I met during my first outing with what'd eventually be the Cluster. He's a weird edge case. First we fought a robotic duplicate of him, then his actual self after he'd done the dumbest thing I've ever seen an Ock do and integrated an extradimensional energy source into his fucking body in a bid for omnipotence. I suspect he was already basically dead when Gwen ripped the Shard out, but he had a backup personality on a secret hard drive and so we've met his AI self. He agrees it wasn't his smartest move. Still, fuck this guy. He apparently stabbed my alternate self in the back so he deserves what he got.
Oliver Octavius, of Earth-42711a, isn't a doctor. I refuse to call him Doctor Octopus, but he's calling himself that because he claims to be the son of Otto Octavius. Knowing Otto, I'm more than a little skeptical of that claim, but that doesn't change the fact that in a bid to be just like Daddy he dropped out of college to become a supervillain. When Melly noted that this plan was less than stellar he interpreted that as a personal betrayal and has sworn revenge on her. He's temperamental, idolizing of a man he's never met, and has an ego more fragile than sugar glass--and he's not even good at villainy. I walked into his lair, kicked his ass, and walked out again in less than five minutes. Oliver's pathetic. And he knows it, because he's scrambling to compensate with a desperation that anyone with half a brain can see is going to kill him very, very soon.
The Otto Octavius of Earth-22701 needs to fucking leave Morgan alone. The Peter Parker of that universe died like a century ago, and that Otto's engineered a way to stop aging so he doesn't even need to fight superheroes anymore. But no, he reads about a kid in New Orleans with my powers and decides that that's obviously his dead enemy having, I dunno, reincarnated or something. Instead of being the result of the spider-related experiments that he funded. I don't have a lot of respect for this Otto's intelligence. I've only met him in-person once, when I was going on the warpath and beating up everyone who's ever tried to kill Morgan, but for some reason having an actual Peter Parker knock two of his teeth out wasn't enough to deter him from his theory about Morgan being me. I'll try again as soon as I get a chance.
Odyssia Octavius, the Ock of Earth-777, is probably the least scientist and most mad of all the mad scientists here. Also the one who leans the hardest into the Octopus aesthetic, because alone among the Ocks she's a marine biologist. Now, unlike certain counterparts of mine I could mention, I actually don't give a fuck about her decision to serve an eldritch sea monster for power. Nor am I opposed to her overall goal--obviously we gotta save the environment, and obviously we're gonna have to fuck up some industries to make that happen. That's fine. My problems with her are more related to her habit of painfully twisting people she's got a grudge on into horrific monsters and then siccing said monsters on the populace. Even if that wasn't fucking abominable and evil beyond all recompense, it doesn't exactly convey the green message she's trying to go for. Maybe the Writhing One is modifying her logic to suit its own ends, using her as a puppet to get what it wants. Maybe she just fucking sucks. I've only ever spoken to her through the Internet, but if we ever meet face to face I'll be sure to ask which one it is right after I kick her ass and rip off big handfuls of that magic tattoo.
October Otto, the Doctor Octopus of Earth-2, is the only person in this list who I'm not inclined to attack on sight. It took me a little while to get to that point--when the me of Earth-2, Pax, introduced us I was pretty suspicious. But out of all the Ocks I've ever met, this is the only one who's not...nefarious. They're a little eccentric, more than a little shy, but overall a very well-meaning and selfless biologist. I'm glad I met them, even if their tentacles make me a little nauseous to think about. They and I still communicate occasionally, and after what happened to Pax I've been checking in with them to ask about their progress on a cure. This is one of the few people with whom I've ever felt the need to share my files on the Oz virus. I hope it does them good.
With the exception of October, all of these people are fucking awful. But none of them are as dangerous or as detestable as the Otto Octavius of Earth-61610.
The Otto I know is an unrivalled genius. His entire existence is devoted to biorobotics, and over the years he's integrated man and machine on a level that makes the Iron Man armor look like a remote-controlled action figure. He's modified his tentacles to counter my super speed, he's designed and redesigned a zillion different personal helpers, he's made himself the center of a technological superpower controlled solely by his mind. And unlike a lot of Ocks, he's not being manipulated by his tentacles. Nor was he driven insane by the accident that fused them to his body. No, this is a perfectly sane, rational prosthesis engineer who got so frustrated with the bounds of the law that he decided he had the right to start snapping necks.
He's a futurist, is the thing. A man with a grand vision of the technological utopia he could turn the world into, who thinks without a shadow of doubt that he knows what's best for the world and everyone in it, and who's decided that if you try to stop him from realizing that vision that the best thing to do is Remove you from the equation. Worse, he's written off massive swaths of the human race off as expendable--as little people whose lives are a perfectly acceptable sacrifice to bring about his future, who maybe even should be thanking him for the chance to finally mean something.
Every Octobot contains at least a few pieces of human brain. He kidnaps people, lobotomizes them, and integrates parts of their central nervous system into his systems to make his robots more adaptable and independent than purely mechanical systems could be. He's seeded mass-produced medicine with nanotech that hijacked the nervous system of the people who took it and turned them into unconscious parts of a worldwide neural network. On more than one occasion, he's tried to turn entire cities into his own personal laboratories, and everyone inside into lab rats.
Otto Octavius is a monster. No other Ock I've ever met even comes close.

Of course you’re human. You shouldn’t deny yourself that, no matter how much of a hand someone had in your creation. I’ve encountered quite a few A.I.s over the years-- both with and without physical bodies they could move around in. And I’ve never considered any of them any less of a person than I was.
And... honestly? Someone being able to ‘hack’ or ‘alter’ you doesn’t change that either. I... should know that, out of anyone. I do know that.
I... had a bad encounter with another version of me, a while ago. She was angry with me for who I was, and so she tore me out of me, and tried to smother me. I was stuck in her for a bit, but when I finally got out, a part of her Shard’s theme had attached itself to mine. It caused my Shard to ‘glitch’ (and I’m not trying to make an analogy with that-- it’s what we called it back then). The conflict between it and the theme I already had was... painful. And I eventually found out that it was more or less trying to... overwrite me. Either make me into another her, or into some agonizing amalgamation between the two of us. And if the Cluster hadn’t helped me, I’d have been lost to it. But even after that, when I’d found out what my mom did... well. I think you’ve probably seen me talk enough about that over the past few weeks.
...Hannah’s telling me I should stop now. Guess she noticed that my hands had started shaking, heh. They get like that when I start thinking about her. Got worse when I tried to type her name, so I guess you’ll be left with a vague pronoun in place of that name this time around.
The point is... how you were made, put together, coded, altered or changed, anything like that doesn’t take away from how human you are. And if some nebulous universe programmer or something thinks otherwise, I’ll track them down and teach them otherwise myself.
…
Question for the cluster at large. Do you consider me human? Or do I just talk human enough?
Do I (and by extension others in my dimension) technically count as an AI of sorts?
How artificial am I to you? Could someone hack or alter me in some way? If there is an “outside world” portion of my dimension, what does going outside look like? Is it anything like being in other dimensions? Why did someone make me? I don’t want this.
I can’t sleep. I feel like I’m a lie.

I. PLOT
It’s been 100 years since the last class left Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. The once thriving institute for people born with a unique genetic mutation giving them extraordinary powers, otherwise known as mutants, had to close it’s doors for good because of a shortage of mutant students following the events of House of M. Soon, the world all but forgot that mutants ever existed, and stories told by the older generations were often viewed as nothing more than tall tales. But there’s a little truth to every tale, isn’t there? Over the past couple years, a new crop of mutants have discovered their powers and after being cryogenically frozen for 100 years, Scott Sommers gathered some of them together to reopen Xavier’s for a new class of students. This is the new generation of mutants. Welcome to Xavier’s,  G E N E R A T I O N  X .
II. BASICS
Generation X is a group verse set in the Marvel’s X-MEN universe. Since all characters attend Xavier’s, they should all be mutants but if you have a storyline that makes sense and you really want a non-mutant, human character, we can discuss. When choosing your character’s super power, you should keep their canon in mind and choose a power that fits their personality. Get creative so we don’t have duplicate powers in the verse. No all powerful characters will be accepted. On a scale of 1-5, no character should be above a 3 controlling their power, and they should all still be learning how to control them. Older characters could have a better handle on their powers but younger characters will probably still be novices. Though this takes place 100+ years after X-MEN canon, no canon X-MEN or next gen X-MEN characters will be accepted unless you have a valid reason for their return, (ex. Scott Summers was cryogenically frozen for 100 years.
III. RULES
There’s bound to be mature content including but not limited to sex and violence in a group like this, so we ask that all muns and characters be 18+, no exceptions.
While in characters drama is encouraged, OOC drama will not be tolerated.
Major plots should always be run by an admin. (ex. major injuries or NPC deaths) Pregnancy and in verse children plots will not be allowed because they don’t really have a place in an environment like this.
Activity will be required either on the group discord or on the dash, but preferably both. If we don’t feel like you’re contributing to the group, you will be asked to leave.
Characters from all fandoms will be accepted as well as original characters.
Each member is allowed up to THREE characters, but we might allow more in the future. If you have at least ONE teacher, you can have a FOURTH character.
Duplicate face claims will not be allowed so if a canon face claim has been taken you will have to use an alternate face.
Duplicate powers will not be allowed so get creative.
HAVE FUN!!
IV. APPLICATION
Please send applications to KATIE.
OOC NAME/AGE/TIMEZONE:
DISCORD TAG: (will not be posted)
TRIGGERS: (if any, will not be posted)
CHARACTER NAME/AGE/FACE CLAIM:
SUPER POWER: (3-5 sentences please - this is an overview of YOUR character’s specific power and their control of it, not a textbook, wikipedia definition)
V. CHECKLIST
Join the group DISCORD server for IC and OOC interactions with the group.
OPTIONAL: follow everyone in the verse for on the dash interactions.
Track the tags:  gv. generation x  and  gv. generation x ooc.

This might be crazy, but...the bag of oranges from “Vampires and Bloodsuckers” (#Scandal 706) represents Olivia’s actions
Tumblr media
When Olivia gets out of her government sedan in 706, the camera pans down to her shoes and bag as she emerges from the car. The lighting sucks, so it looks a little sallow. When she steps into the light you see she’s wearing orange. Her lil lost ass looks cute, but why call our attention to these things?
Finally, I got it! Olivia is that damn bag of oranges, and the myth that accompanies it. The bag of oranges is used as a weapon against an innocent. It turns out that oranges can inflict serious pain that leave actual bruises, both for those who suffer the bruising and their loved ones who have to contend with it.
Cyrus is pained to see the bruising on Fenton’s chest, knowing that he played a small role in this innocent (?) man’s suffering. Olivia didn’t think she was doing any real harm to Quinn, and it turns out to potentially be otherwise.
“There are fates worse than death” (Otto, one of Olivia’s kidnappers)
She’s already caused Quinn’s fiancee pain, and Charlie is the lynch pin in this analogy because he’s the one who takes that feeling of loss and channels it into anger on Fenton.
Now, if we take this further to the potentialities of the larger plot, the orange theory may be at play if she has Rashad and Yasmeen stashed somewhere to give the Bashrani rebels the appearance of death so she could negotiate the terms of the treaty behind Mellie’s back. If this is the case, these people may have their lives, but they are still ruined. Olivia thinks no harm no foul because the “greater good” is more important (don’t get me started on her negotiating with rebels for a peace treaty that will be torn up because the rebels want to oppress Bashranis, especially girls and women).  That’s a trash ass thing Olivia tells herself these days so she can be a big dog who sleeps at night (shoutout to Abby). The point is, Olivia’s actions against Rashad and Yasmeen, and the ensuing chain of events,  will leave bruises, including on herself.
If this does turn out to be the case, then it is one straight out of the Book of Rowan, and the thing that began Olivia’s arrested development. Rowan pulled Maya off a commercial airline, after she told him there was a bomb on it. He let Olivia believe her mother was dead, and sent Olivia away to boarding school in Europe (306, 301, 309). However, Rowan secretly stashed Maya in a secret facility. We are still dealing with the bruises of that deceitful action, from 26 years ago, when it comes to the character of Olivia Pope. Rowan thought he was doing the better thing by letting Liv believe her mother was dead.
“There are fates worse than death.”
Either way it shakes out, Olivia is wrong.
